I’m Michaela, Sovereign Dating & Relationship Coach, host of The Sovereign Heart Podcast, co-author of Love Thy Body Sex, Love, & Relationships, and humble steward of love.
my story...
For nearly seven years, I searched for love in places I believed would bring freedom.
That search led me into open relationships, kink, intentional communities, and countless conversations exploring what it meant to love well. I genuinely believed I was pursuing something deeper, more authentic, and more true.
Instead, I found myself increasingly lost.
Only recently did Christ begin pulling me out of that deception and opening my eyes to His design for love, intimacy, and relationship.
Yet through all those years, one question remained in my heart as a beacon through the confusion:
"What brings us closer to love?"
I carried that question with me every day as I bore witness to the beauty, the brokenness, and the longing within relationships of every kind.
Today, I believe I've found the answer.
Not in endlessly redefining love, but in returning to the One God who created it as He created all things.
I'm not here to fix you.
I'm here to walk beside you—gently, reverently, and honestly—as we pursue relationships rooted in truth, faith, and the kind of love that transforms us from the inside out.
If my journey has taught me anything, it's that every sincere search for truth has the potential to become an encounter with the One who is Truth itself.

I want to give Michaela an excellent recommendation. I am a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. It is hard as a therapist to open up and do your own work. I had been harboring resentment towards a family member. I was wondering if I was ever going to be able to forgive.
